Torque wrenches · Bolt tensioners · Pump units

Hydraulic bolting tools,
matched to the joint.

Torque wrenches, bolt tensioners and the 70 MPa pumps that drive them. One platform covers 185 to 140,848 N·m, with the hose and socket matched to the tool.

Applications

Where the tools go to work.

Same wrench, different joint. What changes is the socket, the reaction point and whether the crew needs a pump they can carry.

  • Row of wind turbines on green hills above low mist at sunrise
    01

    Wind power

Tower and blade bolts, where the stud carries the preload and the load can be read off the pump gauge.

  • Oil and gas terminal with storage tanks, pipe racks and columns at sunset
    02

    Oil, gas and petrochemical

Pipeline and vessel flanges, where the gasket needs an even preload across the bolt circle.

  • Power station cooling towers with steam and a high voltage transmission tower
    03

    Power generation

Turbine casings and steam pipe joints, often with restricted access around the flange.

  • Hot steel billets moving along a roller table inside a mill hall
    04

    Steel and heavy industry

Mill stands, presses and crane rails, bolted and re tightened on a shutdown schedule.

  • Ship hull under construction in a dry dock with gantry cranes
    05

    Shipbuilding

Engine foundations and hull flanges, where the tool has to be carried into the space.

  • Steel frame of a building under construction with a tower crane
    06

    Construction

Steel frame and bridge bolting, where the wrench goes up with the crew.

Ordering

From a bolt size to a tool in your hands.

No catalogue browsing required. Tell us the joint and we size the tool, including the pump and the socket, in one answer.

  1. 01

    Send the joint

Bolt size, grade, target torque or preload, and a photo of the space around the nut. A drawing is better if you have one.

  2. 02

Get a model and a price

Both methods are on the same supply, so the answer can follow the joint: a wrench where access allows, a tensioner where it does not.

  3. 03

    Ship in seven days

Standard models ship seven working days after payment, with the hose, socket and manual in the case.

Quality

What the numbers on the tool mean.

Design, production, test and shipping run under an ISO 9001 management system. Torque repeatability is quoted at ±3 percent, and the warranty runs one year from shipment, as stated on the quotation.

How we work
  • ISO 9001 managementThe production behind these tools runs under an ISO 9001 management system, covering design, production, test and shipping.
  • ±3 percent repeatabilityWrenches are quoted at ±3 percent torque repeatability at constant output, across the MXT, XLCT and WHCT ranges.
  • One year warrantyWrenches, pumps, sockets and hoses carry one year from shipment. Damage from misuse is excluded.
  • Designed to the jointMore than 90 percent of tensioner jobs are made to the working condition rather than taken from the table.

FAQ

Before you pick a model.

Something missing? Write to [email protected] and it goes to the person who sizes the tools.

Torque wrench or tensioner for my joint?

A tensioner gives a more even preload and suits large studs, gasketed flanges and joints that must not be over tightened. A wrench is faster and reaches smaller studs and short shutdown windows. Both are on the same supply, so the model can be chosen on the joint rather than on what is in stock.

How do I know which model I need?

Send the bolt size, grade and target torque. The model comes back sized so the target sits inside its range, together with the socket and the reaction point. If the joint needs a special head or a tensioner body, that is what gets quoted.

Does the pump come with the wrench?

The wrench, pump, hose and socket are quoted as a set. One 70 MPa pump runs every wrench in the MXT, XLCT and WHCT ranges, so a second wrench size usually does not need a second pump.

What is the lead time?

Standard models ship seven working days after payment. Special heads, reaction arms and wind turbine tensioners are built to order and the date is stated on the quotation.

What does the warranty cover?

Wrenches, pumps, sockets and hoses carry one year from shipment. Damage caused by misuse, contaminated oil or unauthorised repair is not covered. Send the model and a photo of the failure and the case is handled from there.

Can you build under our brand?

Yes. Private label and non standard builds are available, including reaction arms and heads machined to a joint. Branding, manual language and packing are agreed before production, and more than 90 percent of tensioner work is custom anyway.

Are sockets and hoses available separately?

Yes. Impact sockets from S27 to S155, 70 MPa hoses in 5 m and 6 m lengths, couplers and reaction arms are all listed separately on a quotation.

What are the payment and shipping terms?

They are stated on the quotation for each order, because they depend on the destination and on whether the order is a single tool or a station. Nothing on this site overrides what the quotation says.

Next step

Send the joint, not the model.

Bolt size, grade and target torque is enough. The answer comes back as a model, a pump, a socket and a price.
