SD, ESD, HLD, TSD
Preload without the friction guess.
A tensioner pulls the stud to load, then the nut is run down by hand while the load is held. There is no torque coefficient and no scatter from lubrication, and the joint can be signed off from a pressure reading.
What it solves
- Single stage bodies from M20 to M100, load from 200 kN to 5,830 kN.
- Multi stage bodies for larger studs and higher loads in the same footprint.
- Over travel marker line on the piston, so the operator sees the stroke.
- More than 90 percent of the tensioners built here are designed to the joint rather than picked from the table.
Selection
Pick the size, not the pressure.
Every model in a range runs at the same working pressure, so the choice comes down to the torque or load the joint needs. The target should sit inside the model range with headroom on both sides.
